Buck Mule Deer in the Foothills

Cutler Reservoir, Utah

August 2017

The weather is changing and the evenings are getting cooler.  Even better, the constant smoke from the wildfires is not blowing through anymore and the air is so clean and clear.  I was excited to go out and shoot some landscapes in the clean air but I found a herd of deer up in the foothills.  I was surprised to see them so low so early in the year.  I was double surprised to see a couple of bucks in the group.  I shot a series of photos as they made their way up the hill.  Later, I found a doe with a couple of fawns grazing in a field and got a quick shot before they went back to eating dinner.

Thanks for reading my blog.
