High Creek Falls

Mount Naomi Wilderness Area

date

The Summerfest Art Festival in Logan, Utah, held it's Plein Air photography contest again this year.  I decided to try to compete again this year for the $500 prize.  Of course, I wanted to win with a landscape but the weather just didn't cooperate.  Cache Valley had completely clear, cloudless skies so I went up to High Creek to see if I could get shoot something up close and interesting that wouldn’t need an interesting sky.  My entry was this nice multi-level waterfall I found. I didn't win the prize but I really like the image I got.

Thanks for reading my blog.
