Canyonland Cactus Patch

Canyonlands National Park, Utah

Catcus Patch

There’s nothing unique about this particular cactus patch. They are all over the Canyonland. I am just fascinated how they grow in these big colonies and not spread out as individual plants everywhere. This patch is about seven feet long and five feet wide. To trip and fall into one would result in your entire body full of spines.
